The results are in! We received a check for $313.00 from the Feinstein Foundation.  There were over 1700 anti-hunger agencies nationwide who participated. The total raised from the challenge was $180 million. We want to thank all of those who contributed. with the price of food these days, every bit of extra cash comes in handy.

In March and April of 2008 Lamoille Community Food Share participated in the Feinstein Challenge. The Feinstein Foundation gives away one million dollars to agencies that fight hunger. For those two months we tabulated all of our cash and food donations. Thanks to our generous donors and many groups that held food drives we ended up with a total of $19,684.00!
