Description:

Lamoille Community Food Share is looking for an energetic, team-oriented, and dedicated Operations Manager to handle the day-to-day functions of sourcing and distributing goods and services for the clients of the food pantry, as well as overseeing critical programs of the organization. The Operations Manager works with the board, staff, and volunteers in a collaborative manner to maintain a vital and efficient organization and to ensure progress toward its strategic goals.


The Details:

This position is a part-time, hourly position with the pay anticipated to start between $19-24 an hour depending on relevant education, experience or other.

● A valid Vermont Driver’s License.

● 3-year motor vehicle report (MVR) showing a clean driving record.

LCFS Mission:

LCFS is a nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to providing food security for our friends and neighbors in and around Lamoille County. Our mission is to help support and improve the well-being of individuals who might otherwise go hungry. To this

     end, we provide supplemental food free of charge in a supportive environment, striving to offer healthy choices within our budget. We purchase food from the Vermont FoodBank, as well as from local grocery stores, markets, and farmers, always striving to support as many local producers as possible. We help all those who ask, but our main service area consists of the towns of Eden, Elmore, Hyde Park, Morristown, Stowe, and Wolcott.
